For those of you looking for a first time project, the MR2 Body Kit is a great kit to start with and the role of Ferrari is getting rave reviews in the 'Ferrenzo 360 Evo'. The rounded look as opposed to the boxy MR2 is what makes this car look absolutely sweet and puts you in the role of a lifetime. It has a bit more of the Ferrari appeal rather than the MR2 and who can argue with that? The fans are going to scream as you really can’t go wrong with this very solid project.
It all begins with an Mk3 Toyota MR2 and the rebuild parts are supplied down to the last little bolt. There are even a set of replacement Ferrari F360 Spider panels offered and the new Ferrenzo 360 Evo is then put together in only 70 hours of work. That’s right, I said 70 hours for all you newcomers out there! There is no welding that is required on this project and there are no special tools needed. If you have a decent set of handyman tools, you are just about set to go in the perfect first time role. How’s that for breaking a leg in the world of rebuilds?
That’s not the end of it either. After you get this nice little racer together, Act II gets even better. This fiery little sports car will get close to 40 miles per gallon on the road and the 99-2006 mk3 Toyota MR2 is really perfect as a base car when you think about the perks. They have an all around great performance and the maintenance is always very straight forward and easy on the pocketbook. Don’t forget, this is Japanese reliability that we are talking about so you aren’t going to be disappointed once you get her driving. You also aren’t going to be searching all over creation for the Toyota parts like a starving actor out of work.
Fully assembled, the Ferrenzo 360 starts at a price of around $38,000 and that includes the original donor car as well as the leather interior, suspension pack, solenoid operated doors, sports exhaust, 18" alloy wheels and leather trimmed roll hoops. It includes everything until you decide to spice it up with a special paintjob or extra detailing. These cars can be painted in any color you want but the standard cars come in red and yellow. Give the Ferrenzo 360 a serious consideration as your first rebuild kit because it may also satisfy you enough to be your last project when you see all the praise you will get from your fans. They will be throwing roses and yelling “Encore! Encore!” as you fly by them in what looks like a new Ferrari that you put together all by yourself. Break a leg newbies!
