As the old saying goes, a picture's worth a thousand words. In the case of this website: BarrysBuildPage.com, the pictures may be worth even more for they carry the site by providing eye candy that's sure to get every car lover's salivary glands working overtime.
A chronicle, or "diary" as kit car builder Barry Johnson affectionately calls his website, viewers of these pages are privy to a written account, well, actually a visual account of Barry's hand-built works, which are certainly admirable and run the gamut from a Euro Works Countach to a Diablo Roadster.
Barry, who has been built top-notch kit cars for nearly 10 years, started his career at RKS Design before joining forces with friend Tom Forester to launch his own kit car company, which the two named Total Performance.
And on his website, Barry's head-turning works are flanked with equally good-looking bikini-clad women, giving the site off-the-chart visual appeal for testosterone-packing kit car enthusiasts. Still, the most impressive shots are those without the string bikinis and taken in Barry's shop where you can get a real behind-the-scenes look into replica car building, with Barry humbly exposes everything - even the dirty shop floors.
Admittedly, the site is not one of the best kit car websites out there, but the pictures that showoff Barry's handy work are hard to ignore and make giving this site a good once-over a must!
According to Barry, he created the site not only display his cars, but to also act as a guide to help others as they strive to build the replica car of their dreams. I tip my hat to Barry for this and for taking the time and effort to create the website.
You will also find a handful of Barry's videos on YouTube.com, including this short clip of a stunning black Lambo complete with, what else but a beautiful matching brunette in a glistening string bikini.
In closing, Barry's website and his video collection showcase some great works of art and shine a spotlight on his expert craftsmanship, and I am not talking about the bathing suit models, although I am sure you men out there will undoubtedly appreciate them more than I do, for it's Barry's cars that make my heart go pitter-patter.
